Trust Staff

The Trust Department officers and employees are experienced in providing financial services to our clients. The Bank is progressive in bringing new technologies and services to its customers. We look forward to the opportunity of serving you as our client.

The local Trust Officers and personnel are available during regular business hours for assistance, information, and consultation as needed.  The Trust Officers are as follows:

Joe Payne, Executive Vice President & Trust Manager, CTFA
Joe has managed the Trust Department since 2001 when he moved back to San Angelo. He has been in San Angelo Banking and Trust Services since 1986. Joe received his Bachelor’s Degree from Angelo State University and also has earned the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor from the American Bankers Association.

 

 

David Vann, Senior Vice President, CTFA
David’s experience in financial services dates back to 1986. A native of San Angelo, David received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and also graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU as well as the Texas Bankers Association Trust Schools. David has also earned the designation of Certified Trust & Financial Advisor from the American Bankers Association.

 

 

Luke Brame,  Senior Vice President, CTFA
Luke began his financial services career in 1993. Raised in Eldorado, Luke earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Southwest Texas State University and his Master’s Degree at St. Edward’s University. Prior to returning to San Angelo in 2005, he spent several years living and working in various parts of Mexico and Chicago as a director of language centers. Luke has also earned the designation of Certified Trust & Financial Advisor from the American Bankers Association.

 

Brenda Smith, Trust Operations Officer
Brenda began her career in 1977 at the original First National Bank in San Angelo. A native of San Angelo, Brenda attended San Angelo Lake View High School as well as numerous Bank and Trust Schools and Seminars.

Administration and Location of Operations

With an experienced staff, the Trust Operations area is responsible for the daily transaction posting to accounts and other trust operations functions. All account administration and operations are conducted locally at the Trust offices on the 2nd floor of the Bank at 2201 Sherwood Way
